We’ve worked more than a few Bollywood and Indian themed events over the years – the crowds are usually a blast! Just make sure you request some of your favorite Indian music in advance so we can provide the best music possible. A prospective client recently asked us for venue suggestions for a small East Indian event. Here are a few Indian restaurants in Calgary that host private events and weddings.
Taj Mahal
They have a space available for private events starting at 25$ a head for a set menu. The space holds up to 130 people. We’ve eaten here and thought the food was tasty. For some reason we had trouble connecting to their website but they were easy to reach by phone. They can accommodate DJ services

They have a private room available that hold up to 30 people. Set menu catering starts at 25$ a head. They can accommodate DJ services.
Another Indian restaurants in the downtown area that host private events is Royal India (larger space). We’ve also seen a number of excellent Indian catering companies that are happy to service hotel banquet rooms. For example The Westin has excellent service and specializes in Indian functions.
